The Manager of the creditors team had a vision of creating a self-managed, motivated, and unified team so that she could achieve maximum success within her team and ultimately as a leader.
The challenge
The creditors clerks had formed cliques and as a result were a divided workforce. Management's goal was to optimise the efforts of each clerk and thereby improve the team's productivity.
The solution
The Building a Dynamic Team programme was the solution. Through high spirited activities, Mind Magic Consulting transformed the attitude of the clerks. These activities unlocked their creativity, kept them focussed on their newly defined goals, and helped them realise that open communication is part of teamwork. The learners were divided into 2 groups and each group had to come up with an original team identity. By the end of the day, the clerks were equipped with techniques which they could use to routinely evaluate the effectiveness of their team within the workplace.
The outcome
At the end of the training session, the team had created a sense of synergy as well as a commitment to apply the skills and techniques imparted to develop a dedicated, passionate team.
